A few ponderings from a Spokane Transplant

My life has afforded me the opportunity to live in  many places: Oklahoma, Indiana, Missouri, Minnesota, Hawaii, New York City, San Francisco, and Seattle. Spokane is where I have called home for 23 years. It was an instantaneous love affair the first time I stepped foot in Washington state. The lush green, the idyllic mountains, the clear beautiful lakes, it is a never ending joy!

The first time I drove across state from Seattle to Spokane I was confused. After leaving Seattle and going through the pass, the landscape changes immensely. I felt like I went through Colorado, Kansas, and the desert all in one 3 ½ hour trip. Then, the minute you cross the Spokane County line, it is evergreens and mountains again. I have been hard pressed to adequately put into words my love for this city and just how special it is.

My career as a Real Estate professional, specializing in working with home buyers, is a great way to hone my "Spokane Cheerleading Skills"! I simply love working with clients that are relocating and moving to Spokane.  I get so excited to show them around town and familiarize them with ALL that Spokane has to offer.
I recently came across a phenomenal photographer that captures this idyllic place and the surroundings with astonishing clarity. His photography really brings Spokane and the environs to life. He very generously has allowed me to share some of his beautiful work. This picture is of Riverfront Park in downtown Spokane with the lights glittering on the Spokane River. Beautiful!
