Fall Is In The Air

Nothing says October quite like a trip to Greenbluff. If you haven't gone there during the fall, I highly recommend it.  We will go several times during the fall festival.  We picked apples at a family owned orchard (Hansens); said apples are now in my laundry room waiting to be made into something delicious.  We have corn stalks and pumpkins (from Siemers) on our front porch, and my husband is determined to get the Halloween lights and decorations up on the house by the weekend.

Speaking of the weekend, I just purchased tickets for Scarywood -- I am not someone who likes to be scared.  It's what Eric wants to do for his birthday, so I am cooperating.  Roller coasters in the dark? Bring it on. Haunted attractions? Not so much.  Wish me luck.
