Who loves old homes? We Love old homes!

While driving down Manitou Blvd, I was thinking how cool are some of these 19th century houses and what history they must have. I did a little more research and have found that Spokane has hundreds of registered historic homes (over 300!). In fact the city has done a fantastic job creating a website to market these unique areas.

They even have a list of them on a map, this would be a great resource for doing some historic tours.

Not enough? How about an App for that?

In April 2015, the City/County of Spokane Historic Preservation Office partnered with Google’s Niantic Labs to create content for one of their exciting apps. This Google App allows you to view the historic buildings and places are around you! Available in the IOS or Android store.

I can think of nothing more exciting than to own one of these treasures, and while they do not come onto the market often, our Realtors have experience buying, selling, and resources for maintaining/remodeling historic homes, whether this be to preserve, restore, reconstruct, or renovate in order to meet your needs in a home.

Oh and did we mention there are tax incentives for living in one of these historical jewels.

Give us a call today if you are interested in a historic treasure we would love to broker the deal for you :)
